Achieving Inclusive Education in the Caribbean and Beyond

Abstract

In this chapter, Conrad and Brown share their recollections of the perspectives from the highly esteemed teacher educator and Fulbright scholar, Dr. Ewart Taylor. Also known as Werty, Dr. Taylor, a lecturer at the University of the West Indies–St. Augustine campus, passed on September, 6, 2017. The co-editors used information from personal notes and two prior interviews, and member-checked with the Taylor family, in writing this testimony. We aim to celebrate his contributions to education, educational leadership, and inclusive practice; and consider how these might guide leaders. We hope that this chapter underscores the relevance of his contributions to inclusive educational leadership.
