Abstract

The advent of the Internet revolution and digital multimedia technology has made it extremely convenient for the user to transmit or distribute multimedia (audio, image, and video) data. This has become a serious threat for multimedia content owners. Thus, there is significant interest for copyright protection of multimedia data. Digital watermarking is a process of embedding watermark into the audio data to show authenticity and ownership [1, 2]. This technique has several applications such as copyright protection, data authentication, data indexing, broadcast monitoring, and so on.
