Abstract

This chapter documents the results of the data exploration and provides a bird’s eye perspective on various ways to construct identities of language learners and language experts in instant messaging conversation. Different interaction practices how chat participants orient to their linguistic identities will be the subject of the detailed analysis in this chapter.
