Abstract
This chapter contains a concise description of some of the most common dermatologic diseases encountered in the ambulatory setting based on 2001–2010 data from the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NAMCS) conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics. This chapter is not intended to be a comprehensive guide, nor does it supplant the clinical nuance often required to distinguish such conditions. Rather, this summary serves as a succinct reference tool for the practicing clinician.
