Abstract
There are many challenges that local election officials face when trying to meet the needs of their voters while ensuring they are in compliance with state law. The author addresses one jurisdiction’s response to such a challenge. Specifically, addressed are voting method innovations in Los Angeles County, California that both respond to the cost associated with elections and the voter experience.
