Modern Development Paths of Agricultural Production

Abstract

Energy saving in agriculture is one of the most important tasks of the XXI century. The study identified the main factors that affect the amount of specific energy consumption when grinding the grain. For the first time, the influence of the main factors on the technological process of the hammer grain mill was determined by means of a multivariate experiment using the method of planning mathematical experiment. The process of grinding the grain with the hammer mill DB-5-1 was under research. As a result of the research, for the first time, a mathematical model is obtained which is convenient for searching a specific energy consumption minimum with the corresponding values of the factors that determine the properties of the grain mill. To investigate the optimum area of the grain mill on the basis of the second regression equation that was obtained, an effective method of searching the optimum, called the canonical transformation of the mathematical model, was used. The results of theoretical studies are the basis for working out scientifically substantiated norms of specific energy consumption necessary for grinding the grain, non-compliance of which causes financial responsibility.
