Abstract
Bone grafting and biologics play a large role in foot and ankle reconstruction surgery. Frequently there is a large void that must be backfilled for a successful surgery. Other times, a failed surgery needs some biological stimulation to go onto a successful osseous union. An array of synthetic, allografts, and autograft harvest techniques have been described for the management of these nonunions and malunions. This chapter will provide an overview on techniques, pearls, and available options for grafting in foot and ankle surgery.
