Abstract
Ankle arthroscopy is a commonly employed surgical technique to provide a minimally invasive approach to managing intra-articular ankle pathology. Common indications include osteochondral defect, ankle synovitis, impingement syndrome, early arthritis, chronic ankle pain, intra-articular assessment of ankle trauma, painful os trigonum (posterior hindfoot endoscopy), and ankle instability. Additionally ankle arthrodesis can be performed arthroscopically.
