Starting from the basic laws of beam behaviour, the calculation methods of their flexural, torsional and axial deformations are presented and applied for the definition of the pertinent flexibility parameters. Using these parameters, the compatibility conditions are written, following the procedure of the Force Method, for the solution of hyperstatic simple beams, continuous beams and frame structures. Examples of the numerical solution of some type structures are eventually presented.
