Abstract

Le septième chapitre est consacré aux deux formes majeures d’objectivation du corps que sont l’imaginarisation et la symbolisation. Mutuellement inclusives, imaginarisation et symbolisation ont ceci de particulier qu’elles touchent à l’organisation topologique de notre corps. Elles transforment la manière de se rapporter à soi-même comme un autre. L’imaginarisation prolonge la visualisation jusque dans le domaine de l’invisible. Elle nous procure une image imaginaire de notre corps. La condition de possibilité de l’identification à autrui est celle de se reconnaître à partir d’un endroit extérieur à soi et en symétrie inversée.
