Abstract
Endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy has become a common procedure for the management of certain lacrimal conditions. Its high success rate and negligible cosmetic morbidity have made it an attractive alternative to traditional external approaches. To perform this procedure well, the surgeon must have a sound understanding of endoscopic endonasal anatomy and its normal anatomic variants and be well trained in the use of the nasal endoscope if adjunctive turbinectomy or septoplasty procedures are necessary.
