Abstract
Pronunciation, just like the other subcomponents of the linguistic system, has to be taught/learnt, and it can hardly take care of itself. Teaching pronunciation involves using a great variety of techniques that can be employed by the teacher in order to enhance the learning process. Apart from techniques, there are numerous tools, which also, to a great extent, contribute to better understanding of the speech processes and facilitate both perception and production.
