Abstract
This chapter provides important information about composite materials with emphasis to polymer composite reinforced with fibers, and the motivation to study the liquid composite molding process. Herein, different topics such as definition, classification, constituents, technological characteristics, manufacturing techniques, and performance of polymer composites are presented and discussed.
