Abstract
The design of methodology of competence-oriented degree programs is considered on the basis of modern labor market requirements deriving from the principle of modularity: the main stages, the principles of design and the mechanism of creating degree programs in higher education has been opened by means of specially developed software. This article establishes a need for competence-based degree programs for modernization of higher education within the context of workforce supply and demand.
