Abstract
This chapter delineates the roles and responsibilities of nurses and physicians at originating and remote sites involved in the tele-ICU services. The roles and responsibilities during initiation, implementation, and long-term management are focused on the originating site. The daily activities in direct patient care are focused on the collaboration between remote and originating site. All the personnel involved in the tele-ICU program play their roles and take their responsibilities as a synergic team to enhance the quality of caring for critically ill patients.
