Abstract
In this paper we present new semi analytical and approximate analytical pressure transient and steady-state solutions for a horizontal circulation well in anisotropic reservoir. The pressure transient solutions incorporate the skin and wellbore storage effects for production and injection sections of a horizontal circulation well. For the steady state case the approximate analytical solution and engineering formula for estimating productivity of horizontal circulation well are derived The solutions presented in this paper are compared with the numerical simulation in KAPPA Saphir.
