Abstract
The main features of stage pole distribution are investigated. Three areas of localization of stage poles related to the Mesozoic-Cenozoic plate kinematics are established. These areas coincide with the areas of upwelling flows in the lower mantle. Using statistical centers of the cluster, the major continental fractures and sea-floor transform faults were outlined. The influence of mantle upwelling flows and zones of weakness on plate kinematic is proved.
