Abstract

Surgery in adult OSA has evolved significantly in response to complications from resective or ablative operations, allowing the development of contemporary repositioning procedures of reduced risk and greater treatment effect. This chapter outlines these concepts in detail and explores the published literature that explains the past and current, as well as possible future directions in palatal surgery.
