Abstract
This chapter summarises key arguments developed in the book. It encapsulates the main ways in which the proposed metric can lead to institutional epistemic justice, whereby universities actively seek epistemic equality for all students. The conclusion returns to ideas about ways in which oppression in education is created and summarises the model for a TEF metric that can help deliver a process of sustained liberation from the influences of histories, public policies, coloniality and rankings that contribute to this oppression and prevent epistemic democracy from becoming a referent of teaching excellence.
