Abstract
This chapter draws on theoretical ideas developed in Chapters 3 and 4 to focus on opportunities the TEF could offer in order to help universities create commitment to just, fair and free from coloniality education experiences for international students. Firstly, the chapter critiques the role of politicised priorities that have driven the present shape of the TEF. It then uses this critique to rationalise the need for reconceptualisation of the outcomes the exercise measures. The final section of this chapter lays out the differences between the new proposed outcomes and the current ones and argues that these differences can be significant in prompting epistemic inclusion of international students.
