Abstract
This chapter describes the pilot study, which incorporated a case study in one primary school. The views of various stakeholders (the principal, teachers, parents, and the students themselves) towards how trilingual education was being implemented in the school were collected, and classes taught in Cantonese, Putonghua and English were recorded and teacher and student interactions were analysed using discourse analysis. The chapter concludes with justifications and recommendations for the model of trilingual education implemented in the school.
