Abstract

Significant progress in sinonasal tract pathology has been made in recent years, including identification of new entities, expanding roles of viral pathogens and tumor molecular pathogenesis. Our chapter covers most of the relevant progress to diagnostic pathologists, as well as classic tumor and non-tumor diseases of sinonasal tract, emphasizing on practical solutions for routine pathological diagnosis and differential diagnoses. Updated immunohistochemical and molecular markers for various tumors are also covered in appropriate context. The case presentation at the end of the chapter provides real-world practice opportunity for all pathologists.
