Abstract

In this chapter, the perspective of data and information systems, as part of the current state analysis, are introduced. The viewpoint of data, including data dictionary, modelling using entity relationship diagrams and data flow diagrams are presented. The modelling of systems interfaces and functions is also discussed. The discussion includes modelling digital aspects.
