Abstract
The anatomy of the innervation of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is described. Nerve block of the auriculotemporal and masseteric nerves to the TMJ is described. The technical approaches to denervation of the TMJ are described and illustrated. The results of TMJ denervation are presented.
