Abstract

This paper describes a key comparison of mass standards APMP.M.M-K5, conducted between nineteen participating members of the Asia-Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP). The application of the Monte Carlo method is used in the processing of the measurement result of APMP.M.M-K5, which is a kind of big data set. Monte Carlo method can get over the limitations that apply in certain cases to the method described in GUM.
