Abstract

The aim of the article is to analyze the literature on the subject of collaborative learning and new technologies supporting this form of learning. To accomplish this goal, the literature analysis of the registered subject was carried out in databases: Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LIST) and Education Resources Information Center (ERIC). The article consists of three main thematic parts and an introduction and summary. The introduction presents selected collaborative learning definitions and contexts of the occurrence of this term. Next, the results of research on the theoretical assumptions of this learning concept were discussed. The next paragraph is devoted to the application of modern technologies and different ways of integrating technology with learning. The article ends with the advantages and disadvantages of collaborative learning and selected projects to help implement this form of learning. Applications were presented.
