Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new approach using hedge algebra to solve the problem of group decision-making (GDM) with the evaluation for comparative linguistic expression. According to the hedge algebra’s approach, it can be computed on the semantic value of the linguistic terms. Thus, the algorithm we propose is both logical and simple in performance. In terms of the proposed algorithm, we applied a particular application, the GDM from reviewers to choose the posted article which is highest rated to award the author. The result shows its correctness and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
