Abstract

This chapter deals with the development, testing, and implementation process of the look-ahead cruise control method. During the development of the look-ahead control system, building of a real-time vehicle simulator is based on a high-accuracy vehicle simulation software, see Mihály et al. (Period Polytech Transp Eng 45:157–161, 2017).
