Abstract
This book was designed to optimize flexibility for educators to adapt the cases to their learners’ needs, while sharing our experience in teaching this material. Here, we offer a guide to possible approaches. This chapter provides an overview of the structure of the book and of the individual cases that comprise the chapters in Part II; guidance for course directors and discussion facilitators on how to use individual cases, in a question-and-answer format; and a brief discussion of the sensitive nature of the content, trigger warnings, and safe spaces.
