Abstract
This chapter provides an overview of the first set of results generated in relation to the perspectives of primary school principals in Serbia. The perspectives in question relate to the societal changes that have been taking place in the country as it has been in transition from socialism to democracy , and on the relationship of those changes to the changes in the education system.
