Abstract

Johanson offers an integrated view of strategic government between macro level in policymaking and micro level in public agencies. Strategic design, internal strategic scanning and strategic governance proceed in both macro and micro levels of government. The separation of politics and administration is one of the key components in success of governments. There are cultural differences between countries which might influence the application of administrative tools.
