Abstract
In cases with refractive surprise or in the rare occurrence of optic opacification, a previously implanted BIL implant can necessitate an exchange. Due to the very limited contact between the IOL and the capsule, this is relatively easy to perform for a BIL implant. The technique to exchange one BIL for another is explained in this chapter.
