Abstract
The safe introduction of new techniques and technologies into clinical practice requires the development of a specific training approach. The evolving field of andragogy offers the theoretical background for developing an evidence-based training curriculum for robotic surgery (for more information, see UNIVR, Deliverable 7.3: Report on curricula assessment, SAFROS Project Deliverable, [1]).
