Abstract
One big difference between traditional parties and political start-ups is the bewildering array of choices a political entrepreneur has. The chapter presents various tried and tested strategic options for the organisation design of a centrist political start-up: for example, how to design for continuous learning and transformation, how to design for fundraising, how to design for openness and transparency, how to design for controlling or how to design for unity in diversity. This process can also be a consciously co-designed one, where citizens help shape the organisation.
You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.
