Abstract
One of the main sector important for energy efficiency is building. Results of a pilot study related to energy efficiency in an academic building were summarized in this paper. The pilot study was undertaken at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo. Ten necessary steps of developing energy efficiency improvement project were defined. Data of water, heating and electricity consumption and theirs costs were analyzed. Special attention was paid on 15-min load data for the case-study building to identify key characteristics of electricity use. Identification of potential energy savings and improvement of energy efficiency are considered after detailed analyses of available and collected data.
