Abstract
Celastrol is a bioactive compound that can be extracted from Chinese herbal medicine named Tripterygium wilfordii Hook f. It had been reported that celastrol exhibited potential anti-tumor effects against pancreatic cancer. However, with limited evidences, it is hard to understand its therapeutic mechanism. In this study, focused on the very binding target protein HSP90, functional regulation network of celastrol against pancreatic cancer were established by integrating functional protein interaction data. In this functional regulation network, celastrol first binds to HSP90, then AKT1/2/3, IL6, IKBKB, TSC2, MTOR, NOTCH1 and CDH1 may further regulated against pancreatic cancer.
