Abstract

With the continuous increase of campus network resources and users, increasing outlet bandwidth and the introducing multiple ISPs have become two key concerns for the development of colleges and universities informatization. Therefore, Zhaoqing University has upgraded and transformed the campus network’s outlets. Based on the existing CERNET (China Education and Research Network) and CT (China Telecom) networks, the university brought CMCC (China Mobile Communication Group Co., Ltd) networks and use user group-based policy routing to solved the problem of lacking outlet bandwidth while bringing a multi-ISP healthy competition mechanism. The actual application results prove that this transformation scheme utilized the outlet bandwidth resources efficiently and reasonably and achieved the expected results.
