Abstract
By 2011, following the acquisition of Synthes by J&J, the AO had gone through just about any kind of turbulence one could imagine. The organization had stabilized, and its activities were humming along at a record pace. The AO had grown, added resources, and overcome every one of the challenges thrown at it.
