Abstract
Cancer prevention refers to activities that help to reduce the incidence and overall burden of cancer. It can include screening, but more broadly encompasses other activities in the clinical setting as well as individual behaviors. Traditionally, prevention has been defined in tiers of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention.
