Abstract
Sublime moments are approached in their dynamics of destruction and construction of meanings signaled throughout the life trajectory of a homosexual adolescent girl, highlighting their importance in the process of grasping these sublime experiences. These sublime moments are studied in order to grasp a holistic unit of analysis that comprises both the prior antecedent catalytic conditions and the subsequent developmental changes. Moreover, the role of the Avenues of Directive Meaning (ADM) is also studied as they are available in collective culture, more specifically in the social milieu of the adolescent (Alice) that offers diverse possibilities for the girl to search for new chances to rebuild her sense of “who I am,” therefore reconstructing her life trajectory.
