Summary.
In this chapter, we discuss how MIDI devices, ports, and connectors work. The basic MIDI devices include sequencers, synthesizers, samplers, and controllers. Most such devices have three MIDI ports, namely In port, Out port, and Thru port. We can build networks by connecting devices, ports and connectors.
