Abstract

This chapter is all about eclipses but let’s get the most important thing out of the way first – solar eclipse safety. Failure to follow solar eclipse viewing and solar eclipse photography safety procedures will cause permanent eye damage as well as ruin your camera. These procedures were discussed in the earlier chapter, but we will repeat them here briefly. For more details, see Chap. 5 in this book.
