Abstract

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN delivers data from proton-proton collisions at an unprecedented center of mass energy and allows for a first look into a new energy regime. Precise predictions of the processes at the LHC are essential to do precise tests of the Standard Model and to search for new physics phenomena in this energy regime. A key role for the predictions of these processes plays the knowledge of the parton distribution functions (PDFs) of the proton.
