Abstract

Aiming to provide a knowledge basis for product redesign and variant design in collaborative design situation, this paper proposed a method of building shared design rationale knowledge model to represent the design consensus about certain design issues by processing and integrating individual design rationale knowledge model. The feasibility of the proposed method is elaborated by the instance of the overall design process about certain aircraft.
