Abstract

In this chapter, the fuzzy rulebase systems will be explained. This ranges from how they are constructed from training data, to how they are applied and how the results are interpreted. As the rulebase systems are an application of fuzzy set theory and linguistic terms, the chapter starts with a short introduction on this topic.
