Abstract

Detection of infectious sites constitutes a daily clinical problem. Generally, the diagnosis of infection is made by the association of a good physical examination, some laboratory tests and radiographic techniques. In some precise cases, scintigraphic techniques can be useful in order to reveal the localization of the infectious lesions rapidly. Most of these techniques are not very infection specific.
