Abstract
Computer Assisted Radiology (CAR) is the application of computer and communication technology in radiological and related medical activities for the generation, processing, management and communication of medical images. Its principle aim is to improve the qualitative impression, the quantitative measurement and the communication of medical images, relating to the state of health of a patient.
