Résumé

Le choc cardiogénique survient principalement dans un contexte d’infarctus du myocarde dont il complique environ 5 à 10 % des cas. L’âge moyen est de 73 ans avec une prédominance masculine (59 %). La mortalité globale est de l’ordre de 40 %.
