Résumé

Le port d’un pacemaker (PM) est aujourd’hui encore une contre-indication à l’IRM. Ce concept reste enseigné en faculté et dans les écoles de manipulateurs, et c’est probablement raisonnable. En effet, même s’il ne faut pas dramatiser le fait de faire un examen IRM à un patient implanté, et s’il est souvent faisable en pratique quand la balance bénéfice-risque est favorable, cet examen devraêtre encadré et impliquer les équipes de rythmologie et de radiologie.
