Résumé

Le traitement des masses annexielles reste la première indication chirurgicale en gynécologie et on recense un nombre important d’explorations pour la pathologie ovarienne bénigne [1]. Le rôle principal des différentes techniques d’imagerie est donc de déterminer les patientes pouvant être surveillées et de les distinguer de celles devant être traitées chirurgicalement [2]. De plus, la distinction entre tumeur bénigne, borderline et maligne permet au chirurgien de déterminer si une conservation annexielle est envisageable et de prévoir une voie cœlioscopique ou laparotomique. Il est donc important de pouvoir identifier au sein des tumeurs malignes les tumeurs borderline car le pronostic en termes de survie et en termes de fertilité chez la femme jeune sera radicalement différent [3–5].
